Lucy
Lucy was a real frightened cat when placed in carriers, cages, or other enclosures. She was abused as a kitten and just went berserk! This made her un-adoptable and the only alternative was to have her euthanized! However, loving foster parents changed that. Lucy was adopted and joined a warm, loving, and animal friendly forever home.
Riley
Riley was found on the side of the road, dying after being hit by a car and left to suffer and die! A kind lady living in the area, found riley and called awsbc. After extensive surgery for a broken pelvis & damaged kidney that was later removed, riley went through extensive rehabilitation.
