The Animal Welfare Society of Bandera county (AWSBC) has acquired five (5) acres of land to build a proper shelter. However, building an adequate shelter takes time and lots of Money. We could do so much more for these animals, particularly the ones that we have to turn away. We just don't have enough foster parents, the room, or the money to continually take in the pets that people drop off in parking lots, in boxes on the side of the road, or the lonely-hungry strays that people shoo away.
Have you ever wondered where your donation dollar goes? Well, look no farther! Each of these guys required tests, expensive surgery and rehabilitation to make them well again! Without your generous donations, caring foster parents, and assistance from a few of the local vets, these guys would have been euthanized. Your money (all of it) goes to sheltering, feeding, and medical care of these babies!
